Ground Rules
Approved and adopted on May 5, 1976

Shrubbery and grass be cared for on common grounds, pool and playground areas. Children should not be allowed to play in common grounds shrubbery. Any person or parents of persons who are caught willfully destroying shrubbery on common grounds will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

Paper and trash should be kept picked up off common grounds and kept free of litter. Children should be encouraged to keep trash picked up.

Children should not be allowed to misuse playground equipment. Any person or parent of persons who are caught willfully destroying playground equipment will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of same.

Bicycles and toys are not allowed to lie around on common grounds or common sidewalks, driveways, parking areas or another person’s lawn.

The property of other persons must be respected at all times. Any person or parents of persons caught willfully destroying property of any kind belonging to someone else will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of said property.

The front yards, rear yards, side yards and parking of all individual properties should be kept in a clean and orderly condition at all times. Paper, trash, toys, dog waste, etc. should be kept picked up.

Garbage bags, trash cans, etc. should be in a neat orderly condition when set out for collection. Trash should be set at curbs no earlier than 6:00 PM, Sunday evenings and cans should be removed no later than 9:00 PM Monday evenings.

Note: Exceptions will be persons who will be away and will have to set trash out early.

Grass and Shrubbery on all properties should receive constant care and should not be neglected.

Note: Hampden Township Ordinance #75-1 states that grass must not exceed a maximum height of 6”, unless specific permission is received from the Township.

Pets are not allowed to run loose in the area at any time. You must clean up waste deposits from your pet on common grounds and other owners’ properties.

Note: Hampden Township Ordinance #74-4 and the State Dog Law enforcement Act #301 mandate this by law.

There should be no loitering or playing at the pool area after the pool closes.

Each townhouse has two designated parking spaces in the area behind each house. Therefore, no one should use another person’s parking space. Visitors must not use parking space belonging to another resident, as there is ample on-street parking.

No motorized bikes are allowed in the development, unless they are licensed vehicles, which are restricted to the street only. No riding on sidewalk.

Caution in driving must be observed at all times. NO SPEEDING! Children are playing in the area and extreme caution must be taken on the streets, the driveways and parking areas.
These Ground Rules are for the benefit of all residents of Salem Park Circle.
To be effective, they must be observed by everyone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
